Hello Dolly! Hello Dolly!

This is Dolly the Sheep. I drew her for Sunday Sketches then she cloned herself for Mixed Media Monday - how very convenient for a busy weekend!

I'm not sure what I feel about cloning. I wonder how the world would cope with two of me for example, though it would of course solve that age-old woman problem of how to be in more than one place at the same time or having two pairs of hands.

Speaking of doubles... I met my twin nieces for the first time today. Ahhhh, I am sooooo broody. They are absolutely gorgeous twin bundles of loveliness. Photos tomorrow....

  1. hellooo - yes, I found some old video footage today as I brushed the dust off my camera - of my youngest when he was a mere babe and I felt a twinge of something that felt like broodiness :0

  3. I love Dolly, for a moment she made me think of my Grandpa, he raised sheep and I remember him with the lambs in his arms.

  6. Dolly is adorable..And what fun to have twin bundles of joy...Your work is great..I have often wished I could clone myself..one of me would do all the chores and the other would be locked in my shop making jewelry..Talk about the best of both worlds..

  13. Thanks for your visit today! I didn't realize I was following you until I looked over at the follower box - wow, I follow so many blogs I loose track! Anyway, I LOVE your Dolly - so glad you didn't do the shell, then we wouldn't have her sweet face to look at, she's adorable! What a story eh? Love your musings on cloning, what a dilema, there's an old fictional story of a Mom who was cloned and it's very sweet, too long to go into here, but mabye I'll post it.....someday!

    Happy SS! Susan

  25. awww, how sweet is Dolly!
cloning scares me a bit, you get into the whole discussion whether the clone has a 'soul' or not.
Of course if you were to clone George Clooney or some other attractive male, it may not be so bad, lol!

I saw the photo of your sweet nieces, oh my gosh, what bundles of joy they are!

thanks for stopping by my blog! ( I answered your question about the red smudge in my own goofball way, lol!)
