The girl with no name
She started as a doodle sketch on Friday evening but then she wouldn't let me stop until I had layered and collaged and waxed and blended and stamped. But she refused point blank to tell me her name. I suppose she thinks it's funny to be so coy. However, I'm not impressed.
I might just call her Mo.
Sharing for Sunday Sketches... well, she started as a sketch!
This is a very short post for me, but my son is standing at my shoulder waiting to be taken to crazy golf!

She looks rather sad. Is her sign actually advertising her need for someone to love her?
ReplyDeleteThe first name that came to my mind was Trina. Not sure why. She seems sadly mysterious.
ReplyDeleteStay inspired!
She is lovely ~ definitely with 'attitude' ~ (A Creative Harbor)
ReplyDeleteYou have to find a beautiful frame for this mystery gal. This is just stunning. Definitely my favorite piece of yours so far. Not only did her face come out lovely but the placement of everything really adds to the glamour of her style, like the butterfly right under the eye, the dangly earring, the rose over the blue hair, etc.
ReplyDeleteOh, she is gorgeous! I love that butterfly right below her eye. Love all the layers!
ReplyDeleteWhen to finish, that is the questions! I think you found a finish that is lovely.
ReplyDeleteshe's lovely, so much more than a doodle sketch now!
ReplyDeleteI dare say she told me her name is Rose.
ReplyDeleteSuch intense eyes and pouty lips. She's a real tease and you did a bang up job on the whole piece. Comes to gether so well. Now to watch your video.

ReplyDeleteI am always impressed with how people are able to layer and add interest, texture and color, depth to their paintings. Yours wonderful!
