What lies beneath
Six of my paintings actually. I mashed them up in PhotoShop and am rather chuffed with the result.
Interestingly the song "somebody that I used to know" is running round my head which feels appropriate.
I freakin love making art me.
This Art Every Day excuse is perfect! However, today we have guests for dinner which means I have to (temporarily) pack away my art studio so it can actually serve its intended purpose as dining table. I dunno... the things we have to do for family eh? I might keep some pencils out.. and a scrap or two of paper, just in case they ask for a demo or something...

This looks amazing, you have done a really good job layering you images, the longer you look at it the more you see!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a smashing success with Photoshop. The results are so interesting - I love the mysterious layered look. I always chuckle when I read the expression "chuffed." It is so charmingly foreign to my ear. Enjoy your guests.
ReplyDeleteSmashing Mashing! Your paintings are so often mysterious, which keeps me looking at them. Great picture.
ReplyDeletecan't you do a floor picnic for them... I had done that in the past I must admit... tried to sell it as fun and whimsical and all that but had my father groaning and grumbling the whole time... of course Phantom piped up and said I made her do it all the time the little traitor... now he always asks if we will be eating at the table... it was 10 years ago but he still asks...
ReplyDeleteanyway love the smash pic... looks a bit like I feel this morning
