Upside Down

I figured if I put the images in then the words might come; kind of an upside down approach. Have you turned your art around lately? Viewed from a different perspective? Go on... take a look...

You might be surprised by what you see. Stepping away from anything and shifting focus allows time for the mind to recompute.

But then again, sometimes, it's OK to go with first instincts, even if they do seem a bit strange...

Meet Angular, native of the Easter Islands

More samples of the art I'm not doing every day this month (see previous post!!)

  1. My favourite is to look at it in a mirror... it shows you everywhere you are stuffing up... and does your head in... fabulous fun...
and so glad you still aren't taking part and overloading yourself!!!!

  2. Great idea. I've noticed that when I photograph my art to post, it's so much easier to see the flaws!

  3. Hi Lisa! Congratulations on your new business and may it be joyful and successful!
Have you been over to One World One Art lately? She has it being scheduled for early 2013 and she has made a brand new button for it! Keeping fingers crossed this time.
Say, didn't you used to be a member over at Inspiration Avenue or is my thinking messed up?
Well, I hope you are well and stay very busy with your new business...
    Hugs,
    Beth P

  5. Thanks for the reminder to switch up the perspective. I haven't looked at my art in the mirror as Tracey suggested in a long time. Time to turn it around for a look see!

  7. I've been told if I want to improve my collage work, I should turn my art upside down and allow it to sit for a few days. I can see how helpful it was for you. and of course, I love the name you chose for the gal.
